The first women-only ski program in Colorado was started 29 years ago at Telluride Ski Resort, and the next one will be held March 6-11. Sandhill cranes
Herald the beginning of spring when thousands of greater sandhill cranes gather in Eckert March 19-27 during their annual migration northward. As many as 17,000 birds will be in the region during the peak. With thousands of people swarming on Eckert during the week, there will be fine dining and entertainment occurring, including a winemaker’s dinner, lectures and presentations. or 970-835-9563
