WELD COUNTY — A 35-year-old inmate at the Weld County Jail received serious injuries to the face during a Friday assault in the jail, authorities said.
The victim was from Greeley, but his name was not released by authorities. He was transported to a local hospital. He was listed in critical but stable condition late Sunday.
