Paging Ben & Jerry’s! Olympic gold medalist Hannah Kearney, left, has some ideas for you. The freestyle skier became the first American to win gold at the Vancouver Olympics when she outscored Canadian Jenn Heil on Saturday’s first night of competition. Heil was the home-country favorite, having won the last four World Cup events. But Kearney nailed the final run of the night to win. So why was Kearney giving Ben & Jerry’s a shoutout the next day? She’s a Vermonter. The Vermont-based ice cream maker recently gave Olympic snowboarder and Vermont native Hannah Teter her own flavor: Hannah Teter’s Maple Blondie. Kearney, who is from Norwich, already has her flavor: Coffee ice cream with Oreo cookies. “I’ll do all the testing,” she said.
