RIFLE, Colo.—Search crews in western Colorado say three stranded snowmobilers are OK after spending a night in frigid temperatures with family and friends who set out to find them.

Garfield County Search and Rescue Inc. officials say a 30-year-old man, his girlfriend, and her young daughter were snowmobiling north of Rifle in an area known as Deep Creek. Officials say they became stranded when one of the snowmobiles got stuck.

Rescue crews began looking for the trio Sunday afternoon. Rescue officials say five relatives and friends of the snowmobilers then went out to look for them and found them just before midnight.

The group spent the night outside and headed to a parking lot Monday morning. Their names were not released.
