Getting your player ready...

The young professionals who belong to CultureHaus love their art as much as they love to party, a fact made perfectly clear by the fabulous turnout for the group’s banner event for 2010. Ania Iwaniczko and Jenny Salimi put together an evening that allowed everyone to get a good look at “Embrace!” the Denver Art Museum’s ambitious exhibition of 17 “site specific” installations contributed by artists from around the world. Meanwhile, every seat in the University of Denver’s Cable Center was filled when the Nathan Yip Foundation staged its annual Chinese New Year gala. Joanne Davidson has more about both events in her Seen First blog: davidson. Photos by Steve Peterson, Special to The Denver Post
