Ingredients
About 1 pound sausage (precooked chicken or turkey sausage works well)
Olive oil
Garlic, chopped (about 2 cloves, more if desired)
4 cups or so canned white beans, drained
Fresh sage or rosemary
Fresh lemon juice
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
In a large pan over medium heat, brown the sausage on all sides and cook it through. Once cooked, set it aside on a plate. In the same pan, add a bit of olive oil and the garlic. Cook, stirring, until fragrant. Then add the beans and the sage and heat through. Spritz it with a bit of lemon juice to enliven it. Season with salt and pepper if necessary.
