WASHINGTON—Denver Nuggets forward Chris Andersen missed Friday’s game against the Washington Wizards with a back strain.
Andersen was in the fourth quarter of Denver’s game in Cleveland on Thursday night.
He’s averaging 6.1 points and 6.3 rebounds and is ninth in the NBA with 1.8 blocks a game.
Forward Renaldo Balkman was also inactive for the sixth straight game, also out with a strained back.
