SECAUCUS, N.J.—The first international non-soccer event at New Jersey’s new Red Bull Arena will be a rugby tournament.
The New York Red Bulls announced Monday that the Harrison stadium will be the site of the finals of the Churchill Cup on June 19.
The event will showcase the USA Eagles, Canada, England Saxons and tournament newcomers France A, Russia and Uruguay in three rounds of doubleheader pool matches at Infinity Park, Glendale, Colo., on June 5, 9 and 13 before moving to Red Bull Arena on June 19.
The Red Bull Arena event will be a tripleheader.
