PORT-AU- PRINCE, Haiti — Six U.S.- bound orphans seized by Haitian police Saturday as they were about to board a flight for Miami were handed over to the U.S. Embassy on Tuesday.
They are scheduled to leave this afternoon for new homes and families in the U.S. Their departure had been delayed after a crowd at the airport accused the children’s American escorts of abducting them.
