Three people have been formally charged in the death of a teenager who was hit by a car and then beaten with a baseball bat.

Adrian Ray Quintana, 23, and Antonio Rios, 19, have been charged with murder in the first degree and conspiracy to commit murder, according to the Adams County district attorney’s office.

Lakiesha Vigil, 21, is charged with murder in the first degree and vehicular homicide, prosecutors said.

About 1:30 a.m. Feb. 15, 16-year-old Nathan Bozonier was hit by a car, and people then got of the car and beat him with a baseball bat, police said.

Investigators have recovered a baseball bat they believe was used in the attack. They’ve also seized a car believed to be the vehicle that hit Bozonier, who was a freshman at Skyview High School.

Quintana, Rios and Vigil were advised of the charges against them Wednesday morning. A May 7 preliminary hearing has been scheduled in Adams County District Court.
