They could face life in prison when they’re sentenced on May 13.

The children were left by their mother with Eric and Linda Torrez. Now in their 20s, they reported the abuse in 2008.

Eric Torrez, 47, pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual assault on a child, eight counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, two counts of sexual assault on a child with a pattern of abuse, one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual assault by a person in a position of trust with a pattern of abuse.

His wife, Linda Torrez, 46, pleaded guilty to sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.

The mother of the children, Karen Stillman, 58, knew of the abuse and pleaded guilty last November to attempted child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury and was sentenced to 16 years in prison.

The Torrez’s 23-year-old son, Patrick Torrez, pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He will be sentenced on March 25.
