Denver International Airport will celebrate its 15th anniversary this weekend by installing a life-size jet wing in the Jeppesen Terminal’s central atrium and passing out cupcakes.
The mockup of a Boeing 787 wing will begin to be installed at noon Saturday, with the work expected to take eight to 10 hours. The Boeing 787, which is undergoing tests, is thought to be the right aircraft to provide nonstop service from Denver to destinations in Asia.
