Heritage Christian Center’s founder and senior pastor, Dennis Leonard, retired this week, passing the torch to the Rev. E. Christopher Hill in an installation ceremony Wednesday night.
Bishop T.D. Jakes, media minister and leader of the 30,000-member Potter’s House of Dallas, presided at the ceremony for the sister church.
Heritage has been renamed Potter’s House Church of Denver.
The nondenominational congregation, with about 10,000 members, has a 35-acre campus at 9495 E. Florida Ave. Electa Draper, The Denver Post
