A 27-year-old Fort Collins woman told police the same stranger who broke into her home and beat her Wednesday night had done so twice before, including on New Year’s Eve.
The assaults have taken place in the in the 2800 block of Middlesborough Court. The man took nothing, the woman told police.
The first assault on Dec. 31 happened at 9 p.m., the second on Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. and the third on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., she said.
Police said in a statement today that it isn’t known how the man keeps getting into the home.
The man was described as Caucasian or Hispanic, 6 feet tall with a muscular build and weighing between 180 to 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and short hair, but the woman wasn’t sure what color.
