STAY ON THE COUCH
Lakers face Nuggets on Sunday.
Kobe Bryant and the L.A. Lakers are national TV mainstays this season in the NBA, either because they’re defending champions or a marquee name or a ratings grabber. Or all of the above.
No matter the reason, the Lakers will be on national TV nine times in the next 47 days of the regular season, among ABC, ESPN and TNT. They will be the NBA’s most-exposed team down the stretch, even more than Cleveland (seven games).
Two of those Lakers games include the Nuggets. They welcome the Nuggets on ABC (KMGH-7) on Sunday for a 1:30 p.m. tipoff. And Denver hosts L.A. on April 8 on TNT.
If ABC is lucky, Sunday’s game will be as entertaining as the last contest between Denver and L.A., when the Nuggets shot lights out for a 126-113 win, including a career game from Chauncey Billups (39 points).
