LINCOLN, Neb.—Three Nebraska wrestlers have automatically qualified for the NCAA Division I championships.
Seniors Craig Brester and Stephen Dwyer and sophomore Tucker Lane are each among the Big 12’s five automatic qualifiers in their respective weight classes. Brester competes as 197 pounds, Dwyer at 174 and Lane at heavyweight.
Other Cornhusker wrestlers could qualify for championships at the conference meet next week in Norman, Okla.
The championships are being held March 18-20 at the Qwest Center in Omaha.
