Organizations serving seniors, youth, and the homeless were among the major recipients of $4.8 million in grants announced this week by the Daniels Fund.
“During uncertain economic times, the nonprofit organizations that strengthen our communities often experience a decrease in giving while facing increasing demands for services,” explained Linda Childears, president and chief executive officer of the Daniels Fund. “It is important for everyone to continue support for these vital organizations,” she added.
