A passenger aboard a commercial flight that landed in Denver this morning was taken into custody for “disruptive behavior.”

The passenger was removed from Southwest Airlines Flight 228 that flew from Philadelphia to Denver, its scheduled stop, landing at Denver International Airport at about 11:30 a.m., police said.

A single passenger was detained by Denver police for “disruptive behavior” and handed over to agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver Police Department spokesman.

Jackson did not have details on allegations against the passenger. The passenger’s name was not released.

After the incident, the flight continued on its route to Los Angeles, Jackson said.

A spokesman with the FBI could not immediately be reached for comment.
