BOULDER, Colo.—Boulder officials are voting on new rules to govern medical marijuana dispensaries.
The Boulder City Council will take a vote on new licensing requirements for the dispensaries and whether to set hours of operation. The new rules would also limit how many dispensaries can operate in certain areas.
A full debate on the proposals would happen later this month.
Dispensaries and grow operations in Boulder generated nearly $74,000 in sales-tax revenue for the city last year, even though most of the estimated 105 businesses didn’t open until September or later.
