Theresa M. Solano has been named the first president/chief executive of the Latina Chamber of Denver.
Solano was recently named the recipient of the 2009 Hispanic Hero Award by the Colorado Rapids; serves as the president of Mi Casa Resource Center; is a mayoral appointee and co-chair to the Denver Latino Commission; and serves as the vice chair of Escuela Tlateolco.
