Love in a bun
Multitasking home decorators will appreciate Denver’s latest entry into the gourmet comfort food category, Deluxe Burger. Attached to the home and design store Mod Livin’ and launched as a joint venture between its owners and chef Dylan Moore (Deluxe and Delite), the restaurant inhabits a neighboring storefront that Mod Livin’ formerly used as a gallery and events space. Now, one wall is orange and adorned with abstract art. The opposite wall features interior windows so diners can contemplate their next chair or sofa purchase while noshing on angus burgers, truffle-and-Parmesan fries, sweet-potato chips, giant chocolate-chip cookies and the like. If last weekend’s grand-opening crowds were any indication, this design and foodie marriage is made in hamburger heaven. 5325 E. Colfax Ave., 303-333-LOVE,
