The Air Force men’s tennis team defeated Metro State and Colorado College on Saturday to improve to 7-2.
The Falcons beat both in-state opponents by scores of 7-0. In the only doubleheader of the season, Air Force swept all 12 singles matches in straight sets. The Falcons play host to Seattle University at 2 p.m. Friday.
Boxer Alvarado to fight Muñoz.
Undefeated junior welterweight Mike Alvarado of Denver will return to the ring April 3 when he faces Hector Muñoz of New Mexico in a 10-round bout in Corpus Christi, Texas.
The fight, on the undercard of a featherweight bout between Miguel Angel Garcia and Eduardo Escobedo, airs on FSN.

Larry Thiel, former executive director of The International, will step in as chairman of the Bob Hope Classic, one of the top events on the PGA Tour’s West Coast swing.
Thiel has 30 years of experience and is one of the most recognized figures in the industry.
