Getting your player ready...

Height: 5-feet-11.

Weight: 185 pounds.

Age: 17. Born: Feb. 9, 1993, in Colorado Springs.

High school sports: Hockey (goalie, plays for Lewis-Palmer, a district team; stopped 33-of-35 shots in championship game, MVP by The Denver Post); golf; and baseball (first and third base).

Grade-point average: 3.77.

Class: Junior.

My favorite subject: Mathematics.

My favorite athlete: Cory Schneider.

My favorite team: New York Rangers.

What I listen to: Country.

The best things on my training table: Sopapillas.

Pregame ritual: I wake up at 6:13 a.m.; listen to the same music; get to school; come home to eat lunch; go back to school; come home, take a nap; shower with the same body wash and shampoo; eat same pasta with a glass of milk; and watch the Ralston Valley game from last season and have a pink SoBe.

Time management tip: In school, I focus all my energy on academics. When the bell rings, my mind shifts to athletics and the weight room. Then I get home in time to unwind and do homework. It’s all about keeping a mental focus.

Planned career: Athletic trainer for college or politician.

My family: Parents Tamara and Ron; sister Lindsey; foreign exchange student brother from Czech Republic, Jakub Mohl.

I would love to visit: Alaska.

What I like most about high school sports: I love the atmosphere and the fact the majority of us out there are playing because we love the game. And in all three sports I play, I think I have the best coaching staff and support.

What I like least about high school sports: I wish I could combine hockey with school year-round, but other than that I love every minute of high school sports.
