Colorado State junior forward Andy Ogide made the All-Mountain West second team. The awards, a combination of coach and media voting, were announced Monday afternoon.

Ogide led the Rams with 12.3 points and 7.2 rebounds.

There were no surprises in the individual honors. New Mexico’s Steve Alford won coach of the year and junior Darington Hobson won player of the year, newcomer of the year and first-team All-MWC. San Diego State’s Kawhi Leonard took freshman of the year and first team All-MWC.

Rounding out the men’s first team honors were BYU’s Jimmer Fredette, New Mexico’s Dairese Gary and UNLV’s Tre’Von Willis.

Air Force was not represented. Wyoming’s Desmar Jackson took third team.

On the Mountain West women’s team, CSU’s Kim Mestadgh was named to the second team. Mestadgh led the Rams with a 16.4 scoring average. She’s the Rams’ first women’s all-conference honoree in three years.
