COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A stretch of Interstate 25 near Colorado Springs that was closed by a downed power line has reopened after traffic was backed up for miles.

Colorado Springs Utilities says a power pole caught fire Monday, and a cable fell across the highway north of Gleneagle.

Traffic was detoured while crews removed the cable, secured other lines and made repairs.
