VAIL — Skiers and snowboarders dressed in penguin costumes fly down the face of Vail Mountain on Monday during the second annual Ride of the Penguins. Creator of the event, Jody Petit, said the idea for a penguin ride came up during a chairlift ride with a friend and turned into a group of people having fun. They are also working on a movie “Ride of the Penguins.”
