LOS ANGELES — Federal safety regulators recalled a line of children’s bracelets Thursday because they contain high levels of the toxic metal cadmium.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission targeted “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” charm bracelets sold at dollar-type stores between 2006 and March 2009 and featuring characters from the holiday movie.
