Snow run

Snowmobilers with The Pink Ribbon Riders will come together in Dubois, Wyo., on Friday and Saturday from all over the world for the third annual Wyoming Snow Run to raise money to fight breast cancer. The run includes a welcome party and a snowmobile ride on the groomed trail system beneath the Absaroka and Wind River mountain ranges. A dinner banquet follows.

Festival of the West

The history, lore and romance of the American West come alive in Scottsdale, Ariz., during the Festival of the West, Friday through March 21. It’s Flauschink time

Flush out winter and welcome the arrival of spring with Crested Butte’s 42nd annual Flauschink, March 31-April 4. The week officially kicks off April 2 with a coronation ball at 9 p.m. A parade follows Saturday and other events happen throughout the week. The festival, along with ski season, ends Sunday when the Flauschink king and queen gather on the slopes at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. or 800-814-8893

Ranch wrangler camps

Devil’s Thumb Ranch, 3530 County Road 83, Tabernash, offers summer “Wrangler Camps” for teens and adults. Activities include hiking, cookouts, fishing, animal tracking, gaining knowledge of horsemanship and more. Junior Wrangler Camps are limited to 10 kids per camp and are scheduled as follows: ages 11-13 June 6-10; ages 14-16 June 13-17; and ages 11-13 Aug. 1-5. Adult Wrangler Camp is scheduled Sept. 13-17.
