AURORA, Colo.—The American Red Cross says a fire at an apartment complex in Aurora has displaced 40 people.

Firefighters say the started around 6 a.m. Monday in a laundry room. No injuries were reported.

The Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross says seven units were destroyed and 24 units were affected. Electricity, gas and water were turned off at the complex.

A shelter was set up at New Hope Community Church in Aurora for displaced residents.
