A green 1998 Land Rover rolled several times in Evans early today, killing one of the two people ejected from the vehicle.
The accident occurred about 2:09 a.m. in the 1800 block of 42nd Street.
When paramedics arrived they found one of the occupants dead and the other suffering from extensive injuries. The surviving occupant was taken to North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
Evans police said that a preliminary investigation indicates speed was a factor in the accident.
Names of the occupants have not been released pending notification of family.
