The FBI and the Denver Police Department are seeking the man who robbed the Chase Bank, 1125 17th St., in Denver at noon Tuesday.

The man, who was wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap, was 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall and was described as stocky in build.

He approached a teller and verbally demanded cash, said Kathy Wright, spokeswoman for the FBI in Denver.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.

No weapon or get-a-way vehicle was seen.

People with information about the suspect are asked to call the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force at 303-629-7171. Tipsters can remain anonymous and earn up to $2,000 by calling CRIMESTOPPERS at 720-913-7867.Howard Pankratz: 303-954-1939 or hpankratz@denverpost.com
