Mile High moment
Three episodes of “Antiques Roadshow” filmed in Denver last year will begin airing March 29 on Rocky Mountain PBS. In addition to highlighting the Kirkland Museum, the unclaimed-property room of the Colorado state treasurer and the Colorado College campus in Colorado Springs, locals were filmed having prized pieces, including a 1941 Martin guitar valued between $65,000 and $75,000, appraised by the show’s experts. “Antiques Roadshow” generally airs Mondays at 7 p.m. on Comcast channel 6.
You design it, they build it
The DIY Network show “Blog Cabin,” the concept for which grew out of the network’s online viewer comments, wants real do-it-yourselfers to weigh in on the renovation of a 1970s ranch house located near the Woodstock Festival site in Bethel, N.Y. Viewers are currently voting on shutter, front door and fencing options, and other renovation decisions are still needed. The results will be aired this summer during a special hosted by John DeSilvia, left. The voting site also featured step-by- step projects like installing a flagstone patio or building a hot-tub privacy screen.
Land sharks
Leaf debris here, an old hose there, an overgrown bush just beyond that. The unsightly areas in your yard are your problem — right? Maybe not. The premise of the new A&E Series “Fix This Yard” is that some anti-landscapers let their yards go to the point that friends and neighbors are fed up. Such black thumbs were turned over to this show’s producers for lawn and gardening boot camp with hosts Alan Luxmore and Amy Devers, below. “Fix This Yard” premieres April 3 on A&E (Comcast channel 41).
