Manny Pacquiao said he’s considering ending his career without fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. The Filipino, who beat Ghana’s Joshua Clottey on March 14 to defend his World Boxing Organization welterweight title, said Monday he will talk to his family before making any decision. “My mother, she said she will even kneel in front of me as long as I stop boxing,” Pacquiao said. “We have to respect our parents. Without them, we wouldn’t be here.” Pacquiao, 31, said he doesn’t need to face Mayweather to cement his legacy in the sport, where he has a 51-3-2 record with 38 knockouts.
