The Colorado State women’s golf team shot a final-round 317 on Tuesday and finished with a three-round tournament total of 922 for fourth place at the BYU at Entrada Classic in St. George, Utah.
The Rams finished 58-over par, 32 strokes behind tournament champion San Diego State. Colorado finished with a 68-over 932 total for sixth place. Wyoming placed 10th at 958.
Senior Kasey Claussen led Colorado State with a 222 total, tying for sixth place with Colorado’s Emily Talley.
• The Colorado men’s golf team shot a 28-over 1,108 total to place sixth at the Oregon Duck Invitational in Junction City, Ore.
Senior Justin Bardgett led the Buffaloes, finishing with a 219 total to tie for 16th. It was his fourth top-20 performance this season.
• In its first tournament of the spring, the CU- Colorado Springs men’s golf team finished eighth at the Notre Dame de Namur Argonaut Invitational at Poppy Ridge Golf Club in Livermore, Calif.
The Division II Mountain Lions finished at 897, 37 strokes behind tournament champion Cal State Stanislaus.
Chris Shoop of UCCS finished tied for sixth. He shot a 2-under 70 in the final round to give him a three-round total of 216.

Air Force men’s gymnastics coach Kip Simons will be inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame this summer.
Simons, one of six new inductees, competed on the 1994 and 1995 world championship teams and was a member of the 1996 U.S. Olympic team. Simons took over the Falcons’ program in 2005. He was the USAG coach of the year and the West Region coach of the year in 2008, as well as the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation coach of the year in 2006.
