Colorado’s third Nordstrom Rack store opened this morning.
The line of customers at the store at 1505 S. Colorado Blvd. was around the building before the store opened at 9 a.m.
One person won a drawing for a $2,000 90-second shopping spree; the first 1,000 customers received tote bags “with their opening day purchase,” the Nordstrom web site reported.
The Colorado Boulevard store is the third in Colorado, joining locations in Park Meadows in Lone Tree and FlatIron Crossing in Broomfield.
Nordstrom Rack carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores at 50-60 percent off original department store prices, the company says.
Other discounted merchandise is purchased specifically for Rack stores.
