NEW YORK — Robert Moffat, a former senior vice president at International Business Machines Corp., became the latest person to plead guilty to criminal charges in a closely watched insider-trading probe that has ensnared several hedge-fund executives, including Galleon Group founder Raj Rajaratnam.
Moffat, 53, pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy and securities fraud before U.S. Magistrate Judge Frank Maas in Manhattan.
