The Colorado-Colorado State rivalry Sept. 4 will kick off the Mountain West Conference football schedule this year, the MWC announced when unveiling its league slate Monday.
There is no bye week on CSU’s schedule, allowing the Rams to finish the season at Wyoming on Nov. 20, the Saturday before Thanksgiving. BYU visits Fort Collins on Nov. 13 for the Rams’ home finale.
In other MWC highlights, Air Force draws an early league opener by hosting BYU on Sept. 11. In a brutal first month, the Falcons play at Oklahoma the following week and meet service academy rival Navy two weeks later.
Wyoming plays at Texas the second week of the season and hosts Boise State on Sept. 18.

The Colorado State University rodeo team will host the 61st Skyline Stampede, starting Friday and finishing Sunday, at the B.W. Pickett Equine Center in Fort Collins.
Friday’s performance begins at 7 p.m. The two performances Saturday start at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. The final performance Sunday begins at 10 a.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and children.
