GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A fire has destroyed a house in Grand Junction.
Mike Page of the fire department says three people were injured in the fire late Monday. Officials say an elderly woman suffering from burns and smoke inhalation was taken to a hospital in serious condition. A man with respiratory burns and suffering from smoke inhalation also was taken to a hospital. Another woman was treated at the scene.
The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately known.
According to Mesa County assessor’s records, the home was valued at around $600,000.
