The Avalanche announced today that single-game tickets for all potential home games in the first round of the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The Avalanche and TicketHorse, the official ticketing provider of the team, also announced that there will be no additional fees on tickets sold through TicketHorse or at the Pepsi Center box office.

Because no additional fees will be attached to the purchase of playoff tickets – whether online, by phone or in person – there will be no price advantage to buying at the arena box office. However, for those who prefer to purchase their playoff tickets in person, a lottery will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday at Pepsi Center to determine the beginning of the line.

Fans who choose digital ticketing through Flash Seats receive their tickets instantly.

Fans can order tickets in person at all TicketHorse kiosks (at area Dick’s Sporting Goods) or the Pepsi Center box office, online at or by phone by calling 303.53.HORSE. Credit cards accepted include MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

Round-one playoff games will be limited to eight tickets per household, per game.
