BOULDER — An employee embezzled about $450,000 from Naropa University over a two-year period, the Daily Camera reported Thursday.
According to a fact sheet provided by the university, officials learned of the embezzlement when they were approached by agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation who were investigating financial irregularities.
President Stuart Lord told the Camera that the university has taken steps to improve its financial accountability.
