The Environmental Protection Agency selected the Downtown Denver Partnership to launch a program to encourage energy and water conservation.
Funded by a $25,000 grant, the Watts to Water program will recognize buildings and hotels over 5,000 square feet that significantly reduce their consumption.
Energy and water use will be measured using the EPA’s Energy Star Portfolio Manager, and participants will have access to Energy Star technicians for assistance.
