Oyster Challenge. This spring marks the first Oyster Off Road Challenge, which pits teams of two to four athletes against others in a race that takes up to five hours and 20-30 miles to complete. Disciplines include biking and running, plus several “mystery” sports, including a water element, such as kayaking. Travel writing and photography will be featured at the Colorado Press Women’s spring meeting April 17. Join Colorado-based travel writers Linda DuVal and Laura Daily, along with photographer/writer Eric Lindberg, at the Mount Vernon Country Club in Golden, as they share their collective years of experience. $30-$35, reservations appreciated by April 10.
