BOULDER — A former nurse who stole painkillers from surgical patients and sometimes gave them unsterilized tap water instead reported to federal prison Monday.
Ashton Daigle is to serve a 4 1/2-year sentence. He faced life in prison for tampering with vials of the drug fentanyl while working at Boulder Community Hospital, but he got a break for cooperating with prosecutors.
