One man was fatally shot and another man was wounded in Colorado Springs last night as two groups of people quarreled on a street.
The double shooting happened around 9:25 p.m. in the 4500 block of Dewey Drive, according to a Colorado Springs Police Department media release.
One victim was pronounced dead at Memorial Hospital and the other was being treated there for his wounds, police said.
The victims’ names were not released.
Police are looking for the driver, or passengers, in two vehicles that were seen fleeing the shooting, police said.
On car was described as a brown low-rider and the other an older SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Blazer.
Police did not discuss a motive for the shooting.
