CATHOLIC HEALTH INITIATIVES: Announced that Dean Swindle will join the health system as executive vice president, business services, and chief financial officer May 17. Swindle is currently CFO with Novant Health System in Winston-Salem, N.C.

DENVER HEALTH: Named Christine Cameron director of budget/financial planning. Cameron’s background includes health care management, budgeting and decision support at Centura Health and Children’s Hospital.

PEDAL TO PROPERTIES: Monique Cole joined the real- estate firm.

COBIZ INSURANCE: Appointed Kate Perreault and Reed Smith as vice presidents in its employee-benefits division.

FRANSEN PITTMAN GENERAL CONTRACTORS: Hired Alan Anderson as an estimator, Laurel Salerno as project engineer and Jennifer Shermer as marketing manager.

BBVA COMPASS: Announced that John Krusoe has been appointed as Denver city president for the commercial banking unit.

ROSE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION: Vicki Dansky was named planned-giving officer.

COLORADO HOUSING AND FINANCE AUTHORITY: Promoted Jaime Gomez to chief operating officer.

IMPOSSIBLE: The design and effects studio added Cherish Edwards as backstage director.

RE/MAX PROPERTIES INC.: Added Macie Chadwick, Christina Crater, Jeff Johnson and Michelle Taylor as broker associates.

NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION: Awarded its Career Awards to five University of Colorado at Boulder faculty members: Aaron Bradley, Robert McLeod and Li Shang of the department of electrical, computer and energy engineering; Sriram Sankaranarayanan of computer science; and Rebecca Flowers of the geological sciences.

ROCKY VISTA UNIVERSITY: Appointed Robert Roehrich as executive director of assessment.
