Eleven area seniors have been awarded Chick Evans Caddie Scholarships, valued at $70,000, to attend the University of Colorado.
Co-sponsored by the Colorado Golf Association and the Colorado Women’s Golf Association, along with the Western Golf Association based in, of course, Golf, Ill., the area winners are Duncan Brandt, Holyoke; Patrick Ellsworth, Colorado Academy; Daniel Frazier, Fountain-Fort Carson; Alyssa Gertje, Mullen; Ingrid Gomez, Roaring Fork; Omar Lopez, Basalt; Bradley Porter, Cherry Creek; Joseph Putnik, Ralston Valley; Lotem Sella, Mountain Vista; Adam Valeruz, Lakewood; and Charlotte Wagner, Regis Jesuit.
