A 27-year-old snowboarder from the metro area was found dead by a Summit County ski patrol Wednesday afternoon.
His name was not released.
He was found amid some trees off the Sawmill run on Peak 8 at Breckenridge Resort at about 4:30 p.m.
Sawmill has a blue skill level rating.
Summit County coroner Joanne Richardson said in an e-mail that an X-ray showed the man had a broken neck.
