COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Fort Carson commanders and local government leaders have organized a community meeting to discuss the impacts of the future growth of the Army post.
The meeting will be Friday in Colorado Springs. The sponsor is the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments.
Military members of a discussion panel include Brig. Gen. James F. Pasquarette, the 4th Infantry Division’s deputy commander for support, and Col. Robert F. McLaughlin, Fort Carson’s garrison commander.
Also on the panel will be Robert F. MacDonald, executive director of the council of governments; Brian Binn, president of the Military Affairs Division of the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce; and Terrance McWilliams, director of military support for the El Pomar Foundation.
