A was struck and killed Thursday afternoon as he worked on his disabled sport-utility vehicle on the shoulder of Interstate 70 near Lookout Mountain.
The name of the person is being withheld pending notification of relatives. The Colorado State Patrol said evidence indicates the man stepped into the roadway in the path of a Kenworth semi-tractor trailer driven by a Fort Collins man.
The crash remains under investigation.
