The good news: anticipation continues to grow for the unofficial kickoff of mountain bike season in Fruita, which is actually scheduled for April 29-May 2. The celebration of off-road cycling in the red rock canyon country of western Colorado kicks off with a New Belgium brew party April 29, followed by three days of cycle-centric events.
